Jordi is an art historian, expert in Kinetic Art and Geometric Abstraction from the second half of the twentieth century. Based in Paris, he joined ISLAA in 2019 to collaborate on research projects and the expansion of the documentary heritage.
Specialist in archive management, he joined the Louvre Museum’s Documentary Resources Service and later, for nine years, he was responsible and coordinator of the Documentation Centre of Carlos Cruz-Diez’s Atelier.
He has taught Conservation and Documentation of Art as a visiting professor at the École de Condé in Paris and, as an independent curator, has cured the exhibitions Cruz-Diez en noir et blanc. Photographies de 1943 à 1975 in the Maison de l'Amérique Latine of Paris in 2014, Open Works. Art in Motion, 1955-1975 in the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera in Barcelona in 2018 and Light and Movement. The Kinetic Avant-garde in Paris, 1955-1975 in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante (MACA) in 2019.
He is a graduate in Art History from the University of Girona in Spain and obtained his master's degree in Museology from the École du Louvre.
